Kripalu Yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga using inner focus, meditation, standard yoga poses, breathwork, "development of a quiet mind", and relaxation. Kripalu emphasizes "following the flow" of prana, or "life-force energy, compassionate self-acceptance, observing the activity of the mind without judgment, and taking what is learned into daily life."

This yoga class is a practice of turning inward to gain greater understanding, peace and strength. It is filled with beautiful music, inspiring readings and a spiritual presence and sometimes a little sass! In the Kripalu approach to yoga there is an emphasis on meditation, breath work and spiritual attunement. The aim is to unite the mind and body to allow for exploration of postures and your reaction to self.
This is a great class for any student looking to deepen their practice of yoga. This class will help you to learn to find relief from stress,strengthen your body and bring ease and healing to your mind.
