Description: | Clark alumnus Howard Levy '68 will read from his second collection of poetry, "Spooky Action at a Distance." Levy's work explores the human need for emotional and physical bonds, and the journey from loneliness and seclusion to attachment and fulfillment. By examining poignant themes of connection and isolation, he captures the shared elements of the human experience through masterful imagery and perception. Howard Levy is the author of "A Day This Lit" (Cavankerry Press, 2000) and the newly released, "Spooky Action at a Distance" (Cavankerry Press, 2014). His work also has appeared in such journals as The Paris Review, Poetry, Threepenny Review, and The Gettysburg Review. This event will open with a public reception at 4pm followed by Levy's poetry reading at 4:30pm. |
