| Description: | In celebration of the 175th anniversary of the Blackstone Canal, Worcester Historical Museum offers a roundtrip bus ride to Providence, RI to view WaterFire, Barnaby Evans' award-winning fire sculpture installation on three rivers. This powerful work of art is symbolic of Providence's renaissance and has received international praise. Join us as we visit for the lighting and viewing of Waterfire! Festivities begin at sundown (6:23 PM). Grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants in the area and stroll along the riverwalk. Bus will depart from front steps of Worcester Historical Museum, 30 Elm Street. Only 50 seats available, so reserve your space now. | |
