Description: FITCHBURG -- Everyone has a story to tell. Are you working on a memoir, stories or family history? "Family Stories" writing workshop for seniors and other writers will run on Thursdays, 12:30-1:45 starting February 7. This popular class, which has also been presented at the Fitchburg Senior Center and at Fitchburg State University is taught by Sally Cragin. The tuition is $30 for the entire five-week session. There will be writing in-class and a weekly readaloud of work. Absolutely no writing experience required. We'll help you put your ideas on paper, to share with your family. "I had reached a point in my writing where I was no longer making progress. Sally Cragin's "Family Stories" workshop helped me overcome my writer's block. The weekly in-class writing exercises have prompted me to explore new topics and discover new approaches.
Most importantly, the workshop has made writing fun again." says Walter Orlov of Lunenburg. Class will be held at 454 Main Street. Register by calling 978-320-1335.

Sally Cragin teaches writing and literature at Fitchburg State University's ALFA program, and also has taught writing at Harvard Extension School, and Webster University, St. Louis.
