| Description: | At Screen Savvy Camp, your child will spend a week developing media literacy skills, and having fun! We'll learn the secrets of the advertising industry, get behind the camera, and explore the world through a media savvy lens. It's an experience not to be missed! Screen Savvy Camp takes place in beautiful Princeton, MA, in a Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care licensed setting. Media Literacy means knowing the ins and outs of screen technology, but it doesn't mean we have to miss out on outdoor fun. We'll be taking our cameras outdoors for plenty of fresh air, no matter the weather. Screen Savvy Camp is for children ages 8 through 12. Weekly Rate: $250 February Vacation - February 18-22, 8:30-3:30 Theme of the Week: AdSavvy Kids Camp During this week, kids will learn the tricks and techniques used by advertisers to sell products. Then, we'll turn the tables and design our own advertising campaign for a local non-profit organizaton. Day 1: Welcome, Introductions to Building Blocks Day 2: Pre-Production Day 3: On Location Day 4: Post-Production Day 5: Post-Production Wrap-up and Presentation |
