| Description: | Visitors are invited to grab a pint or two from the taverns serving wenches, feast on hearty colonial fare, and listen to period tavern music. Theyll also be treated to a lamplight tour and hear tales about the historic colonial farmhouse escorted by 18th century farmers, merchants, and militiamen as portrayed by museum volunteers. The Smith-Appleby House is located just off I-295 (Exit 8-B) at 220 Stillwater Road in Smithfield, RI. |
