Description: Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D, is a scientist, writer, meditation teacher, Professor of Medicine emeritus at UMMS, founding executive director of the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society (1995), and founder (in 1979) and former director of its world-renown Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Clinic. His latest book, "Mindfulness for Beginners: Reclaiming the Present Moment and Your Life" (Sounds True, 2012) will be available for purchase and signing.
