| Description: | A Fun, Free, and Inspirational Family event! Now celebrating its third year, Heroes Day is a fun and inspiring event that offers Club and community members the opportunity to publicly and officially thank those who have made a difference in their lives. Nominations are only $25 each, and every nominee receives a certificate, medal, and Heroes Day booklet including their story. Heroes Day celebrations begin with a carnival, including games and activities such as a bounce house, paddle boats, dunk tank, pie eating contest, and face painting. The event culminates with a ceremony, where all nominees are publicly honored and presented with their Hero awards. Do you have a Hero in your life? Or is there someone who has made a difference in the lives of others, who you would like to honor? Nominate your hero today. All nominations must be received by Friday, May 18th to be guaranteed a spot in the Heroes Day booklet. The Boys & Girls Club of Worcester is proud of our community. Serving hundreds of children each day, our supporters help provide the resources we need, so we can continue to provide the many programs and services that make a difference in the lives of local disadvantaged youth.
