Description: Jacob Edwards Library is offering an opportunity for pre-school age children and their parents to participate in a structured movement program, free of charge.

An important part of child development is socialization with other children. Social interaction allows a child the opportunity to learn new skills such as how to express thoughts and emotions, sharing, and learning to get along with other children, all of which help to develop more self-confidence. An organized playgroup offers children the opportunity to participate in different activities, and learn from other children, while giving you a chance to spend some time with adults.
In this half-hour session, intended for 1-4 year-olds and their parents, we will focus on play activities involving movement skills, sharing, and social interaction with other kids, for an easy transition into pre-school. All the while having fun!
