| Description: | The Rialto takes the leap into a weeklong program of cutting-edge contemporary dance curated by Atlantas own dance visionary Lauri Stallings of arts collaborative gloATL and featuring, among others, the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, Gallim Dance, Keigwin + Company (or simply K + C), and Zoe|Juniper in a truly unique gathering of some of the worlds most exciting dance companies. One of Americas most acclaimed choreographers, Lar Lubovitch founded his troupe over 40 years ago, and his company has become renowned for musicality, sophisticated formal structure, and deeply humanistic voice that have garnered international acclaim. New Yorks Gallim Dance plays inside the imagination, finding juxtapositions of the mind and body that resonate in the soul and realize the endless human capacity for inspiration. K + Cs refreshing vision of dance embodies a theatrical sensibility of wit and style and actively engages the audience in the choreographic process, creating opportunities for viewers themselves to become more invested in dance. Seattles Zoe|Juniper creates performances that challenge viewers perceptions of time and perspective and exist in a state of the in-between, immersing the audience in a place where the physical and fantastical realms meet.
