| Description: | The Silver Circle Gallery in Putnam, CT is proud to announce Abstract Lens a photography exhibition held in the quiet corner September 1st October 3rd 2010. The show consists of local photographers who show a unique view of the world through the lens of the camera. Environmental studies, figure, landscape and memories are some of the sources the artists use as subject matter. This is a collaborative exhibit featuring photography which is non-representational and non-traditional in content and execution. The artists show cased are Carol Dunn Michael Stenta, Justin Wirtalla, Gail A. Harrison, Sheri Socher, Cheryl Cianci, Ron Henault, Zack Wussow, Harrison Judd, Jim Goodwin, Lindsay Shaw and Nikki Sullivan. The opening reception, Friday September 3rd from 6-8pm, is a free event that will allow the public to view the artwork and meet the artists. Silver Circle Studio is located at 75 Main Street (Suite 3) in Downtown Putnam. Since 2008, Silver Circle Studio has been a fresh, contemporary space where visual artists collaborate to show and sell their work, educate others, and inspire one another and their community.
