Description: Join Worcester's longest running poetry series every Sunday night for an open mic reading followed by a featured poet and/or a poetry slam. This week we welcome Erin Jackson to our stage.

Jackson has been part of this slam poetry community for a while now, and the opportunity to listen to all of you is the reason she keeps coming back. She's been on a three Worcester slam teams and even made it to individual finals once upon a time, but she's much more interested in talking about the existence of zonkey's than all of that. She grew up on the Northshore, has lived in almost every part of Massachusetts, and currently resides in Brighton. She teaches his tory to support her poetry habit and is always in the market for good recipes, secret undiscovered beaches, and a slinky that won't bend after you use it more than once. Featuring is Worcester feels like both an honor and a homecoming all at once. She's pleased as Punch AND Judy to share her work new and old with the Asylum.
