| Description: | The Davis Art Gallery is pleased to present "Perfectionists," featuring the work of three acclaimed Worcester area artists. Paintings by Howard Johnson, Scott Boilard, and Bryan Davagian will be on display from July 22, 2010 through September 2010. Although each artist portrays very different perspectives, all three hold themselves to a higher standard. From pop sensibilities to art historical references, this exhibit includes elements of abstraction, fantasy, and realism. An opening will be held on Thursday, July 22 from 5-7 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be on hand. Location: The Davis Art Gallery is located on the third floor of the Printer's Building at 50 Portland Street, Worcester, MA 01608. Parking is available on Portland Street, as well as in the Street. Do not park in the Bancroft Lot (cars will be towed). The Davis Art Gallery is a space developed to promote the arts in the Worcester area. Past exhibits include painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media. |
