| Description: | New England has talent! Could this be you? Country Star Search sponsored by the New England Country Music Organization. Winners will advance to the Northeast Invitational Country Showdown, and the North America Country Music Assoc., Int'l. competition. Battle of the Bands with $1000 prize (provided six or more bands enter)!! Youth and adult categories in the following areas: vocalist, entertainer, duo, group, band, instrumentalist, dancer, dance team, songwriter, CD, and video. All entries must be new or traditional country, gospel, bluegrass, country dance, or clogger. Winners will be announced at the gala New England CMO Awards show to take place on June 27, 2010. Deadline for entries is March 31 with live competition on April 24 and 25. | |
