| Description: | Works in cloth have moved from the utilitarian to standalone art objects. This collection provides a brief introduction to the fiber artists community of Worcester County. Works include traditional quilts, as well as contemporary fiber art. The viewer is encouraged in observe that fiber art is truly a mixed media art form. In addition to cloth and colored thread, photographic prints, paint, ink as well as sewn in objects are all available components to todays fiber artists palet. | |
