| Description: | It is that time again for Jacob Edwards Library to host the annual Women's Hand Work show that includes fine art, jewelry, sculpture, knitted and crochet garments. Since its inception seven years ago, this group show showcases the amazing creativity and high quality of the work being produced by women artists in our community. The show opens on Monday, March 1st and runs until Wednesday, March 31st and is viewable during library opening hours Monday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m to 1 p.m. A reception for the artists will take place on Thursday, March 4th, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Please consider this your invitation to come and view the beautiful work on display. Mellonee Pauley will provide percussion accompaniment. On Monday March 8th, celebrate International Women's Day at Jacob Edwards Library with women around the world.
