| Description: | Come learn the living descendant of the knightly longsword at the Higgins Armory Museum! Dr. Ken Mondschein, moniteur d'armes, will instruct a one-day class in this unique European martial art, based on traditional martial arts systems from France and Italy. Topics will include manipulating the weapon, footwork, fencing theory as applied to the baton, attack/defense drills, and the advanced artistic acrobatics that make baton such an exciting spectacle.
