| Description: | Open to all singers of any ability or level of experience with the desire to sing and willingness to learn with others. Led by composer, guitarist Jim Scott, the non-audition choir will learn primarily by ear with written music to help, and sing many styles of choral music from rounds and chants to classical, jazz, world folk music from many cultures as well as contemporary popular music that celebrates ideals of community, diversity, ecology and peace. The choir will rehearse Tuesdays for a 10 week term working toward performing on Earth Day and other Community events. Suggested donation membership fee to cover rehearsals and notebook of music. |
