| Description: | Nancy Tobey Techniques in Borosilicate Beadmaking This two day workshop is designed for the intermediate to advanced beadmaker interested in learning about the unique, and sometimes frustrating, qualities of borosilicate glass. Using Nothstar Borocolour and Momka glass rods, powders and frits, students will explore the process of color development through oxidation and reduction. Nancy will work with each student to guide your experiments with color combinations, oxygen/propane ratios, and annealing temperatures to help you learn about the "magical" properties of hard glass. Bring a notebook and pen - this is truly a hands on class |
