| Description: | From March 1 through April 3, 2010, Worcester Local First is conducting its second annual Think Local, Thank Local campaign to benefit the Worcester County Food Bank. Nearly 80 WLF members with a total of nearly 100 locations are participating in the month-long Hunger Hurts! Food Drive. The goal is to raise at least 10,000 pounds of non-perishable food items, or the cash equivalent. One pound of donated food equals a $1 donation. Popular radio personality Hank Stolz will broadcast live on WCRN/830 AM on Friday, April 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Percy's TV & Appliance, to promote the Final-Weekend Push for food donations. Liberty Movers will provide a truck to collect donations from Percy's customers and and anyone else who stops by. During the TLTL '09 campaign, 36 WLF participating members raised a total of 3,000 pounds of food and $2,300 of cash donations to benefit the Food Bank.
