| Description: | The Donations Clearinghouse and Worcester State College are collecting furniture and household donations to help families and individuals leaving area shelters and transitional housing. The DCH is also committed to helping people with limited fixed incomes, fire and flood victims, and the elderly. Bring items to the college. If they are too large or too heavy, please give the DCH a call and arrange a free pickup of the items at 508-791-7265 ext. 22 for a different day. Items desperately needed are: Sets of Dishes, Silverware, Pots and Pans Lamps Night Stands, End Tables, and Coffee Tables Dressers and Bureaus Kitchen Tables and Chairs Mattresses, Box Springs and Frames* (twin, full and queen sizes) *At this time we are NOT taking King-sized beds, Sleep Sofas or Linens ***Tax-deductible receipts available Thank you and we look forward to seeing you on November 17, 2009. |
