A cast of professional and student dancers who join the production from six states perform in the production. The well-known music of Tchaikovsky and lively choreography take the audience on a magical journey with Clara and her Nutcracker Prince as they travel through the Land of Sweets. The ballet features colorful costumes and scenery that includes a miraculous Christmas tree that grows before your eyes, a sleigh drawn by white reindeer and of course falling snow. About Dance Prism: Dance Prism is New Englands Premier Touring Ballet Company. Celebrating its 27th season. Dance Prism has performed widely throughout New England since it was founded in 1982. Dance Prisms goal is to bring affordable, full spectrum ballet into the communities of New England. Dance Prism's annual production of The Nutcracker and other classical and original ballets are performed in cities that include Worcester, Andover, Sudbury, Fall River and Littleton. Company members also tour New England offering Lecture-Demonstrations and Workshops to private and public schools, libraries and retirement communities. Dance Prism is a not for profit organization.
