| Description: | FutureStars 2009 - 7.0 Version! SHIRLEY,MA- "FUTURESTARS", the concert showcase for teenage bands, returns to THE BULL RUN, Rt.,2A,Shirley,Ma. SUNDAY AFTERNOON, Nov.22nd. "FUTURESTARS" is NOT a "Battle of the Bands" or a "Pay to Play" event. It is an 'inclusive', not 'exclusive' series. As a result of OVER 30 Applications, FutureStars 7.0 Edition will feature NINE Acts, & Begin at 3PM, making this a Five Hour Concert! The youth of today seldom get a chance to enjoy live music in a fun, friendly environment. "FUTURESTARS" was created to allow teenagers the chance to do so. It is a concert for musicians under 18 to perform on a BIG stage, with a top-notch sound system, in an all-ages show. Here are the NINE ACTS performing!! 1.- Amnaeon (Hardrock)- www.myspace.com/Amnaeon (FutureStars Alumni band) 2.-Behind the Barrier (Rock/Metal) -Nashoba Regional 3.-Not So Much (Rock) -Leominster High 4.-The Color of Sand (Alternative/PowerPop) - Innovation Academy,Chelsford,Nashoba Reg.,Lowell Tech 5.- D & S (Alternative) -Maynard High, The Bromfield School 6.- Hudlin (Alternative) - AYER HIGH 7.- Corey Knapp (Country Rock)-Franklin Tech 8.- Jordan Racine & Ryan Foley (acoustic Blues & Folk-Rock) -Oakmont Regional 9.- Angela Rossi (Acoustic) -Leominster High Tickets are only $10 in advance, $15 day of show. Tickets go on Sale Monday, Nov.2nd, and will be available from all acts appearing, as well as from The Bull Run and City Music stores in Leominster & Gardner,Ma. "FUTURESTARS" is sponsored by CITY MUSIC Stores, with support from The Bull Run, Up-Side-Sound Studios, Metronome Magazine, & Bedlampro.com. PROCEEDS from the show will benefit an area school Music Program. "FUTURESTARS" showcases have generated thousands of dollars in donations to music programs such as The Leominster & Gardner "Music Boosters" Clubs.. Previous "FUTURESTARS" events, at venues including: The PACC in Gardner, The ITALIAN CENTER in Leominster, & The Bull Run, have been very successful.
