| Description: | November 11 is Veterans Daythe anniversary of the signing of the armistice that brought World War I to a close. To mark the occasion this year, there will be a brief commemorative service at the Veterans Monument in front of the Shrewsbury Public Library at 11:00 in the morning. Beginning at 10:30, veterans, their families and friends, and all other interested citizens are invited to gather in the Library parking lot. An honor and color guard is expected to grace the occasion. Following the ceremony, there will be a reception in the Library for all attendees. |
