| Description: | Spend a fun, creative evening before the holidays learning about glassblowing with your teen! Explore some of the basic techniques behind this fascinating and ancient art as you learn how to gather, shape, and blow molten glass at 2100 degrees! During class you will create your own glass ornament to decorate your tree or give as a gift. Shop safety will be addressed. This class is limited to teens ages 13 and over and their adult guardians. Price is for TWO students, one teen and one adult. Avoid wearing man made fibers and bring a bottle of water with you to class. Students must be at least 13 years of age. All glass classes take place at the Worcester Center for Crafts' New Street Glass Studio, 35B New Street, Worcester, MA 01605 |
