| Description: | This introductory course will give students a hands-on tour of the New Street Glass Studio, allowing them to sample all that the facility has to offer. Students will create projects in each of our glassblowing, flameworking, stained glass and fusing studios. This class is designed to provide a unique opportunity for students to gain skills across a range of techniques, helping them to decide which direction to pursue within the field of glass. You can expect to create several small projects during the course. All levels welcome. Avoid wearing man made fibers and bring a bottle of water with you to class. All glass classes take place at the Worcester Center for Crafts' New Street Glass Studio, 35B New Street, Worcester, MA 01605 |
