| Description: | Merely Players, Assumption College's student theater club, will perform "And The Rose Will Have Its Own," written by James Thibeault. The play follows Edward, an adult in his early twenties who begins to have hallucinations of his recently deceased father, Leo. At Leo's wake, Edward's uncle Carrie, who hasn't been seen in over a decade, decides to make amends for ignoring the family and decides it would be best if he took over the as fatherly figure of the household. Bothered by the hallucinations, Edward feels as though he should be the one to step up, but wants to revert back to the way things were.
