| Description: | Please join host Carle Johnson for this monthly poetry reading every fourth Saturday of the month (except December). Tonight we welcome the Youth Slam Team featuring past and present members in an ensemble cast of spoken word performance. Just back from the Brave New World competition, these seasoned performers will rock the stacks along with the incomparable Alex Charalambides. Open mic precedes the feature and everyone is welcome to read a poem or two or just come to listen. Group usually swings over to the cafe for coffee and... after the reading. Let's end the year with a bang! |
