| Description: | This hilarious comedy of misunderstandings focuses on mismatched lovers and their troublesome servants. Clarice loves Silvio; when Beatrice shows up disguised as her brother Federigo, Clarice's former fiancé, the course of true love is unexpectedly strewn with obstacles. Scott Malia directs this classic farce by Goldoni, a reworking of themes from commedia dell' arte, Italy's distinctive brand of improvisational comedy. |
