Opera Worcester is in its 36th year proudly bringing opera to Worcester. Our 2009-2010 season features Rigoletto presented at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester on Saturday October 24th 2009 and Madame Butterfly on Wednesday April 28th 2010, both from 7:30 to 10:00 PM. The opera is sponsored by Opera Worcester and is a fully staged professional production by the National Lyric Opera of New York with full live orchestration.
