On Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at the First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury, The Master Singers of Worcester invites singers to attend the first open rehearsal for the Boars Head Festival, which will be held on Dec.12. All voice parts are being sought, especially basses and tenors. Singers interested in participating in this years Renaissance costumed festival, may audition at the end of the rehearsal or schedule an audition in early November by phoning 508-842-1349 or emailing director@mswma.org. Please prepare one short song or a vocal line from a standard choral work, and be ready to sight-read as well as do a few vocal exercises. Well known for its annual Boars Head production, MSW currently includes about 50 members drawn from Worcester and surrounding communities. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings starting at 7:15 at the First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury.
