Welcome to Blue Jean Meditation. I gave this ad a lot of thought before I wrote it because there are many misconceptions about meditation including "it's a cult activity" or "spirituality quest". I have been meditating for 20 years and teaching it for 10 years, and have found that neither of these are true. Meditation is learning to silence the mind, to give it a break. Meditation brings discipline to your mind and in turn, to your life. Meditation is taking your mind to the gym. What you do with the silence is up to you. Let this class help you train your mind to bring silence into your daily life.
I have modeled my life with the help and inspiration of meditation. I live my life in the real world with problems that we are all dealing with. We are all monks with no monasteries. Please join me and we will work together to bring this change in your life. Class is casual and open to all. No experience necessary. This class uses visualization techniques, breath work, and thought provoking comments and stories to guide you through meditation. We sit in folding chairs to meditate or you can sit on the floor. Please, take this time and do it for yourself. "See you there".
