Bio: Robert Melvin is the Vice President of Engineering at Teledyne Benthos. He holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering. He has over 25 years of experience in both engineering and program management and is responsible for overseeing all of engineering including the GAVIA autonomous underwater vehicle and the Slocum glider. He frequently speaks at conferences on Knowledge Based Engineering and holds three U.S. Patents in the area of signal processing.
