Prof. Vernon-Gerstenfeld will present Economic development is partially driven by innovation in a society. Israel has one of the highest rates of innovation in the world but only 8 million people.
ABSTRACT: Recently a group of 20 MBA and other Master Degree students, as part of a course on global innovation, traveled to Israel to study the Israeli model. What fosters innovation there? How does the system work? What can people from other countries learn from the Start Up Nation model that is transferrable to their own cultures. This talk will be a report on the lessons learned from last years field trip and from this years.
