Prof Popovic will introduce his new book Biomechanics and Robotics (in press) on biological and artificial organisms. He will discuss physics principles utilized for standard modes of locomotion (terrestrial, aquatic, and aerial) and object manipulation. He will also provide a brief overview of recent research activities within Popovic Labs http://users.wpi.edu/~mpopovic

Refreshments will be served in Olin Hall 118 at 3:30 p.m.
