To celebrate Charles Dickens's 200th birthday, Gordon Library is presenting an interesting selection of material from its Fellman Dickens Collection. The exhibition highlights themes in Dickens's novels including family life, coaching days, Christmas, and social reform. Rare first editions in serials and parts are also on view. A reception will be held on September 20, 2012,4:30-6:30 p.m., featuring a presentation by Kristin Boudreau on entitled 'A Pretty New England Town' : Dickens in Worcester.
