History / Heritage - Meeting
Tuesday, February 26, 2013
7:00 PM-9:00 PM
A Fraternity of Irish and Irish-American, Catholic Men, the Ancient Order of Hibernians is a National organization with a local Chapter in Worcester which meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at the Worcester Hibernian Cultural Centre.
Our motto *"Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity"* implies a Friendship carrying with it a spirit of helpfulness, a Unity of all our people, and a Charity not merely for the assistance of our own members, but a Charity broad as the universe and circumscribed by neither race nor creed.
The Worcester AOH local activities focus primarily on fostering the ideals and perpetuate the history and traditions of the Irish people and promoting Irish culture.
We welcome all men who are practicing Roman Catholics, and who are Irish by birth or descent. If you wish to become a member please contact us.
As always, our home, the Worcester Hibernian Cultural Centre as well as its pub and restaurant Fiddlers' Green are open to eveyone as our all of our events.
Cost: Members Only - See information below about joining
