Dont miss an evening of entertainment and inspiration as you hear excerpts from these great books which are available for sale at the Craftworks, the Northborough-based cooperative where local crafters sell their wares.

Phil Gilman McGourtys poignant story of love, devotion and faith is reflected in her memoir, Two Yellow Slickers. It is the story of her life as a wife and mother and the challenges presented when her husband, Larry, was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease. Kirkus Reviews calls it a refreshing read in a world awash with memoirsan extended eulogy that refuses to be crestfallena moving memoir of an everyday life suddenly uprooted by a common but extraordinary illness. Come and hear Ms. McGourty read from her book and talk about her journey.

Ken Amidon is an experienced mystery writer who has recently published his first novel, Stray Threads. It is a mystery set in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. Hear him read from his novel and learn how he set out to write and publish his first book.

Bob Perry is a self-described metaphysical writer who has been penning poetry since the age of 11 and is also a novelist. Come and hear him read poetry from his book Where the Journey Takes You and talk about the sources that inspire him to write.

M.E. Tuthill is The Itinerant Poet. She has been writing poems for 30+ years and compiled them in her book, The Linen Man & Other Poems. Love, loss, politics, race, humor and general observations about life are covered in her book. Come hear her read a sampling.
