Children's author and illustrator Eric Mateer, who grew up in Northbridge, MA will be visiting Annie's Book Stop of Worcester to celebrate his latest release, Doorway to Nowhere.
Eric will be signing copies of his newest book for young readers, DOORWAY TO NOWHERE, published December 2012. He will also be signing copies of his first book, PAINT ME TERRIFIED, released in May of 2011. PAINT ME TERRIFIED and DOORWAY TO NOWHERE are both installments in the PAINT ME TERRIFIED book series, which follows two pre-teens as they discover the many secrets of their quiet, suburban town where nothing is as it seems.
Eric Mateer is a writer/illustrator who grew up in Northbridge, Massachusetts. Eric received his BFA in Illustration from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2010. He has since published two books for young readers; his most recent, Doorway to Nowhere, was published in December 2012. He now currently resides in sunny Florida, where he also works as a caricature artist at Walt Disney World parks and resorts.
