An Exploration of Asian Arts Through Western Eyes

The Davis Art Gallery presents works by the Silk Road Art Guild, artists from Central Massachusetts promoting the arts and crafts of the Middle and Far East. Explore the simplicity, spirituality, and serenity of Asian art forms through perspectives of both Asian and Western artists. Chinese Brush Painting is the major thrust of the exhibit, including both free style and fine line paintings. Additionally, multi-media works and traditional subjects from Indian, Chinese, and Japanese culture will be shown through the eyes and art of the Western practitioner.
