This weekly workshop on Thursdays is for adults who want to explore the pleasures of nature-inspired creative non-fiction in a supportive environment. The objective for each participant will be to create a finished piece. Each session will include in-class writing and reading, and discussion about the elements of creative writing. Students will be expected to read what they have written and participate in discussing one another's writing. We'll use the natural resources available to us at Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife Sanctuary for inspiration. Although the instructor's specific background is in writing memoir and creative non-fiction, writers of any genre are welcome! Participants with any amount of writing and reading experience are encouraged to attend.
