Join us for a family-friendly canoeing experience in the Blackstone River watershed. This is the perfect experience for beginner paddlers. We will practice our skills in flat, quiet water and then move into a marshy area to test our steering skills. Get up close to learn about plants that like their feet wet.
This program is part of the Campaign for a Fishable/Swimmable Blackstone River by 2015. Participants should bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that can get wet. We will provide life jackets, paddles, and canoes. For ages 8 and older. For more information and to register, call 508.753.6087.
