Empty Landscapes, Silent Halls, will serve as the first exhibition held at the new GArtH Gallery of Art at the Hadley Building, 657 Main Street, Worcester. This exhibition is presented by ARTSWorcester and will feature contemporary paintings by local artist Brian Burris. Brian is
self-taught and has been painting for over twenty years. He closely identifies with color field painters such as Clyfford Still, Mark Rothko, and Barnett Newman. Brian describes his work as abstract expressionism, with the emphasis on the “automatic” or subconscious act of painting. To view the exhibition, please call 508-755-5142.
