Funky Murphy's is Worcester's newest bar and grille serving tradional pub fare as well as unique menu items and daily specials. With the widely open windows, many are finding this, the summer hot spot for Boston style al frecso dining on Shrewbury Street. The entire menu, including apps, salads, soups, sanwiches and entrees is served all day with Five Dollar Lunch Specials through the week. Offered all day Sunday, the traditional Irish Breakfast is, arguably, the best in town. Also, Sunday, beginning at 8pm, you'll find Worcester favorite, Terry Brennan singing Irish music til 1 am. With three 52" plasma T.V.'s and a large screen projection in the main bar area it is the ideal place to watch your favorite sporting event. The candlelit, cozy dining room has roomy booths and tables perfect for couples, small groups of dinners and can also accomodate large parties. The food and drinks are excellent and priced very reasonably.
