The Worcester African Cultural Center is located in a historic building formerly used for manufacturing. The Center is an affiliate of The Worcester Cultural Coalition.

The Worcester African Cultural Center houses a gallery, Gift Shop, and performing arts center. The museum displays artifacts from the entire African Continent. Display items include masks, figurative sculptures, textiles, and contemporary art.

The Worcester African Cultural Center provides a forum for cross-cultural exchange, and is an established resource for information on African art and culture for elementary and secondary schools, as well as colleges and universities, in Worcester, its surrounding communities, and the Northeast region. At present there are few institutions where the general public, students, families, and tourists can engage in activities and events related to African art and culture.
