Join us for a week of FUN and creativity while working in our air conditioned ceramics studio. You will design, make and decorate a range of ceramic forms from sculpture to pots. Try out the potter's wheel with high-fire stoneware, while also letting your imagination run wild making clay animals, creatures, tiles and whistles, from low-fire clay. Decorate your work with bright low-fire glazes and your first efforts on the potter's wheel will be glazed and finished in our high-fire kilns. Some completed works will be available by the end of Friday's class, and the high-fire work will be available for pick-up after two weeks. Open to ages 10 to 16. Dress to work in clay and bring an old button down shirt or apron to protect your cloths. Students must provide their own bag lunch and snacks each day.
