Enjoy storytime, craft activities, live animals and more--all for little ones aged 3 and under. New themes every week!
Please note: Due to the popularity of the program, we have a new format! There will be two identical 1/2-hour sessions for the story and animal program. The craft time will be ongoing. Please pick up a ticket for your session at the Information Desk when you arrive at the museum.

Session two (same story and animal): 11:00 a.m.
Drop-in craft time: 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

SmartArt: Exploring Science & Art

Science comes alive in this new, interactive exhibit exploring the connections between art and science. Discover the changes taking place all around us - from motion to sound, sound to shape, carbon dioxide to oxygen, or 3D to 2D - as seen by both art and science. Use sound to make a robot dance, feed a plant with your breath, turn music into shapes, and much more! Created by the Environmental Exhibit Collaborative in partnership with local artists.

Budding Scientists - Program for Kids Ages 4-6

Please note that Budding Scientists is usually the first Thursday of every month, but the July session will take place July 9 instead of July 2. Join us for a program for curious little explorers. Simple, safe, science and nature experiments to grow your budding scientist! In July kids will learn the science of bubbles during the Budding Scientists program and then they can apply their knowledge while interacting with our new Bubbles exhibit- opening July 1st!
