Verite Soiree in co-sponsorship with Career Services. Series of informational/ introductory lectures pertaining to MGMT 100 Service Learning Project, Verite as an NGO and its Mission. Central focus of the night is Unfair-Abusive Labor/Child Labor as a global social issue. Followed by Verite Internship-Fair. Presentation of prospective internship opportunities to Clark Students. Proceeded by short question/answer session, internship/email list sign-ups. Finger foods and refreshments will be provided during this time.
This event is for Clark University Students, Faculty and Staff. We will be working with Verite, "a worldwide leader in advancing sustainable business practices that promote just and humane work", in an effort to introduce Verite's internship and volunteer opportunities to the Clark students interested, as well as to raise and promote awareness, sensitivity and hopefully active response to the serious issue of unfair labor throughout the Clark community. A series of informational lectures will also be held by a Verite representative and Clark professors, which will pertain to the MGMT 100 Service Learning Project, Verite and its mission, and Unfair Working Conditions/Labor as a global social issue.

Professor Barbara Bigelow (Graduate School of Management, Professor of Business Policy and Health Administration, Project Supervisor).
Professor Beverly Grier (Associate Professor of Government, Government Department Chair).
Mr. Daniel Viederman (Verite Executive Director).
