Geller Jazz Residency brings Jazz Producer Todd Barkan to Clark Campus to Present Video on Bassist Ron Carter

Todd Barkan, jazz producer and former music director of Jazz @ Lincoln Center, will be at Clark University on Wednesday, March 12 as part of the inaugural Geller Jazz events. He will present a video about the event's honoree, Ron Carter, at 2pm in Razzo Hall, Traina Center for the Arts.

NEA Jazz Master, Sir Ron Carter, demonstrates with every swinging note he plays, and every word he speaks, why Ron has been, and continues evermore to be, one of the supremely inspirational anchors of world class jazz music. Performance clips as soloist, Golden Striker Trio with Mulgrew Miller and Bobby Broom, in Quartet with Cedar Walton and both Freddie Hubbard and Art Farmer, and the classic Quintet with Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, and Tony Williams, interwoven with bright moments from Ron Carter Master classes.
