What exactly does the word freedom mean? When, and under what conditions, do we experience freedom? Is it a single thing or does it take different forms? How far does freedom extend and is it synonymous with liberty? Are people really free, or are we all determined by physical, biological, or social forces? If our thoughts and actions are to some degree constrained by external factors, is liberation possible? How? Please join us for a dialogue facilitated by Walter Wright, Professor of Philosophy. Suspend your assumptions, listen to others, and together discover something new.
